Please note: We ask $400 for our babies. Raising good, healthy pups is an expensive and time consuming hobby! We charge only as much as we need to in order to afford us the pleasure of continuing our breeding and providing our dogs with the best of everything. If you are determined to get a top quality pup and our price is beyond your budget, we can occasionally can sell a pup for less if we feel it is going to the right home. Also, we are happy to accept small monthly payments if a lump sum is hard on your budget. |
| Our puppies and dogs have been featured on many Dachshund calenders, appointment books and magazines. They are favorites of photographers not only because they are very nice looking, but also because they are so calm and friendly, which makes them easy to work with. The current 2010 Dachshunds Calender from the Avondale Publishing company features three of our past pups for the months of October, November and the inside cover shot. Look for them in your pet and book stores. If there is a certain kind of pup you are interested in, you can call and let me know and I will put you on my waiting list. Then you can meet the pup when he or she is ready to go, or before if you live in the area. We do not take deposits on pups unless you have had a chance to meet the pup and we have had a chance to meet you. If you are unable to come see us, we probably can come closer to your location if necessary. You can look at the "Colors and Patterns" page to see some adorable pups from past litters in case you'd like to get on a waiting list for a special kind. We keep our babies with us until they are at least 8 weeks of age, had 3 wormings and the first two shots. Their dew claws are removed at three days of age. All our adult dogs are duel registered with AKC (American Kennel Club) www.akc.org and ACA (American Canine Association) www.acacanines.com. AKC is geared towards breeding and showing, while ACA is the largest veterinary health tracking purebred canine registry. To help cut costs, all puppies sold as family pets will come with ACA registration only. If the pups come from champ lines and have show possibilities, we will be happy to provide AKC registration if you want to pay the additional cost . Our pups go to their new families with a puppy pack that includes their own blanket, a couple of their favorite toys, a sample bag of Eukanuba small breed puppy food, treats, AKC or ACA registration papers, shot record and signed guarantee. See the written guarantee on this site. If you would like a crate or dog bed that your pup is already familiar with, we can provide those if you pay our cost - usually $20 for a crate and $10 for a bed. Our puppies leave us with a basic understanding of potty training (paper, pads or outside). I have put together some very good written information on crate training and housebreaking, basic training for puppies and dealing with "problem" behaviors. If you would like this to be included in your puppy pack, just let me know. |
| Here are some of our pups in their new homes. It looks like they have made lots of new friends and are all getting plenty of love. |
